Community guidelines
The Filmaholic community is where people share the film looks they make, enter weekly photo challenges and rate each other's looks. There's no room in it for anything offensive. Anything that breaks these guidelines is removed, and so is the account that posted it.
When you post
Looks and challenge photos aren't reviewed before they appear. When you publish a look or enter a challenge, you confirm that:
- the look is yours to share: you made it, or you have the right to give it away;
- the photo is yours, and anyone recognisable in it is happy to be in it;
- you take responsibility for what you post.
What isn't allowed
In usernames, look names, photos and captions:
- nudity, sexual content, violence or gore;
- hate, harassment, or anything aimed at a person or group;
- someone else's paid presets or LUTs, or looks named after another company's products;
- spam, advertising, or names and photos meant to mislead;
- personal information, yours or anyone else's;
- pretending to be someone else.
Filmaholic refuses offensive words in usernames, look names and captions before they're posted.
Reporting and blocking
Open any look or challenge photo and tap Report, or report a username from that person's page. What you report is hidden for you straight away, and anything several people report stops being shown to everyone while we look at it. Block hides everything from that person on your iPhone, and lets our moderators know. If you aren't signed in to iCloud, or you're in the App Clip, Report opens an email to us instead.
We review reports within 24 hours. We remove anything that breaks these guidelines, and stop the accounts that post it from using the community.
Removing what you've posted
Open the look in the community and tap Remove, or remove it from Your stocks. People who already added it keep their copy. A challenge photo can be taken out of the challenge from the photo itself.
Deleting your account
Go to the You tab, then Settings, then Delete my community account. This deletes your username, profile and everything you've posted, liked, rated or reported. See the privacy policy for details.
